Australia - Ballina, Evans Head & New England National Park

Ballina was an unscheduled stop when our car broke down.  Still, can't complain; we've been in some really remote places, with no phone signal and no one for hundreds of miles, but we broke down between a garage and motel, with the town's main street 5 mins walk away

It was quite a pretty little place too, with a river and nice beaches

In Evans Head, Paul made it clear whose chocolate it was....

We could see dolphins from the shoreline, only metres away

The Razorback Lookout was a pretty good view too

Including looking to the south

We went on a walk further upstream of the river that ran next to our campsite

New England National Park had lots of rolling hills, like England....and then lots of waterfalls in between

This is Dangar Falls

In Wollomombi, we camped in a forest for the night and got up early for a trek

Where the local falls were stunning, set in a canyon a few miles wide
Well worth the visit
