We climbed up Mount Warning, a hard and steep trek/climb, to find it'd mostly clouded over. This was taken during one of the rare gaps in the cloud
You could see all the way to Byron Bay, on a clear day
The peak of Mount Warning is the first place in Australia to see the sun every morning
They say it takes 4 hours to get up there, but we did it in 2
Byron Bay was a touch easier to manage. We drove here
The sunsets were pretty cool
And the small dot next to the lighthouse is actually the moon. Think it shrank in the camera
This overlooks the bay where during the day, we saw dolphins and whales from
Quite a busy beach, but a good atmosphere. Some hippies, but not too many so it smells....
The lighthouse is on top of the hill in front
And looking south from the lighthouse is a good place for surfing, or so I'm told...
Looks better at night I reckon...
