We climbed up Mount Warning, a hard and steep trek/climb, to find it'd mostly clouded over. This was taken during one of the rare gaps in the cloud |
You could see all the way to Byron Bay, on a clear day |
The peak of Mount Warning is the first place in Australia to see the sun every morning |
They say it takes 4 hours to get up there, but we did it in 2 |
Byron Bay was a touch easier to manage. We drove here |
The sunsets were pretty cool |
And the small dot next to the lighthouse is actually the moon. Think it shrank in the camera |
This overlooks the bay where during the day, we saw dolphins and whales from |
Quite a busy beach, but a good atmosphere. Some hippies, but not too many so it smells.... |
The lighthouse is on top of the hill in front |
And looking south from the lighthouse is a good place for surfing, or so I'm told... |
Looks better at night I reckon... |
